$15K (incl tax, title, license, delivery, yadda yadda yadda) after an insane GM red tag sale in 2005 and trade-in. It was an insane deal. The Subie Impreza 2.5 wagons MSRP-ed around $18K.
I traded in a 2002 Nissan Xterra, and the Saab dealership payed me $1500 more than what I owed on the Xterra in trade... which was sweet.
It came with 2 year / 24K free scheduled maintenance which saved me maintenance expenses that 1st two years.
A few suspension tweaks, and the little wagon handles mostly neutral. No understeer. In extremes, a touch of oversteer. AWD kicks ass in crappy weather.
