you could always replace the thermostat. may seem like a strange suggestion but I was thiunking about it the other day and the whole point of it is to keep the coolant from getting cooled too much because the motor is more efficient at higher temperatutures. I know Insight fanatics will block of portions of the front grill nascar-style to get better mpg.
