At least my starter will last longer without it :hs:
My buddy back in college got work done at a Sear's and instead of using the E-Brake and neutral they put it in first gear. He paid for the car and while that he started it via remote, then heard a loud thud. When he started it it jumped and before the gear caught it hit a pole. Sears wouldn't do anything for it.
