Default I <3 Amazon.com

So awhile back I purchased the Toshiba HD-A30 for $269.98 and it came with 2 HD-DVD's in the box, another 5 free from amazon.com, and then the 5 MIR ones; (still have to do that). Needless to say Amazon.com has a 30 price drop matching policy. If the merchandise ever drops you can call for a price match/refund. Well the player dropped $10 3 days later so I call in my $10. The player then drops another $10 the next day, call in and price match. So now the player is $246.98. It then dropped yet again $10 so I call, they refund me the total of $20 (previous one didn't go through) so now I have refunded a total of $30 making the player $239.98. 2 days ago the player was on sale at another site so I called to see if they price matched to other sites and alas they do not, but the player had dropped another $7 so I have them put that through. The guy goes on hold, comes back and says "OK I have processed your refund of $37.88 and you should see it soon in your account." Well I basically shut up and this morning the $37.88 went through and now says "COMPLETE" next to the refund. So instead of getting $7 refunded, I got $37.88 refunded making my player a grand total of:

Original cost: $269.98
$10 refund: $259.98
$20 refund: $239.98
$37.88 refund: $202.10 :yay:

So I received a $400 player and ~$216 of HD-DVD's (average of $18 for each) for $202.10

OH HELL YEAH!!! Tis the season to be happy with amazon.com!

OT: but one of their ads is for remote car starters and the car is the Mazdaspeed 3. I wouldn't put a starter on a stick...They are not the smartest...

yeah, I'd prob. have one on my car but I'm sure that at some point I'd forget and leave in Reverse. Best case scenario I have to walk outside anyway, worse case scenario my car rapes another.

At least my starter will last longer without it :hs:
