Since day 1 on my '05 Accord EX V6, my headlights have been so-so. When on bright they are awesome. But on regular the cars behind me create a shadow of my car in front of me. When it rains, I really think my lights just barely work. I'll even turn them off while driving to see if there is any difference and I can hardly tell the difference.

I took my accord to the dealership once and they said everything was normal and needed to upgrade to more expensive headlights, which I thought was BS, because everything else stock on my Accord is great. My problem is now that I no longer live in the city and there are not as many street lights I sometimes cannot see a turn coming until the last second.

What could be some standard headlight issues for me to check out?
