Realistically speaking that's true. The only time a warranty should be voided is if there is obvious driver neglect or a direct cause-N-effect issue.

But from my experience Honda can AND WILL void your warranty for any mechanical modification.
I took my car for warranty service because I was burning oil due to a worn piston ring seal. THe motor only had about 80K miles at the time.
They acknowledged there was a worn ring seal, but because of my short ram intake rufesed to do warranty service.
Also, a friend of mine had tranny problems on his 6th gen V6, but his warranty was voided because his car was lowered 1.5 inches.
