I'm pretty sure he's speaking of Electronic Engineering Technology, depending on the school it can be an associates, bachelors, or masters in science, engineering, or engineering technology. Graduates are certified electronics technicians and can be considered for any number of tech or engineering positions. EET's can become licensed professional engineers after completing the minimum work experience requirements in many states and then passing the professional engineering tests.
Techs work closely with engineers, generally the work we do overlaps. Engineers having a higher emphasis on design while techs have a higher emphasis on implementation and troubleshooting. We're the guys who say fvck off when the dumb as shit engineers design something which is inconceivable in real life. Techs pretty much make sure engineers don't make complete asses out of themselves with things that just don't work.

no not funny, what you posted is an assumption. he cap the title specifically, which is why i asked. If it is an AA degree, it would make sense that it's from a trade school and not a 4 year university.
