As far as wheels, that bullshit. allignement is independant of the wheels unless you are running 15s on one side 17s on the other. Think about your car sitting on a flat surface and then think about it on the same surface with 1" boards under each wheel. the suspension is going to be unaffected.
Anytime I replace tires I do an alignment, it just helps you get the most out of them.
