I'm confused because the R2/R3 kits are typically referred to generically but rarely is the HD kit reference specifically. This is a problem because the requirements don't appear to be the same. The matrix lists full compatibility with '03 to '07 Accords, but makes no mention of the HD version.

The HD Dice website compatibility chart makes no reference to '03 and '04 Accords.

Is there something special that happened in 2005? Is there a workaround?
Because in 2005 Honda added XM to the higher-end models of the Accord. HD radio is tricky to use without text display, something which XM allows us to do. You could use the HD in a 03, 04 Accord but there would be no way to do text at all.
