Water is a natural byproduct of combustion from the engine, not the catalytic converter. NOx is broken down into nitrogen and oxygen and carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide and oxygen by the catalytic elements. Water is not a byproduct of these reactions.

It sounds to me like normal condensation that has built up inside the piping.
