Just picked up a 95 EX that had just blown a head gasket. Haven't done one of these before but I've pulled everything off and am wondering how clean the block has to be for the new head gasket. It still has some black color on the inside part of the block but feels really smooth. Do I need to try to do more and if so what could I use?
