What codes exactly? There is about 5 related to your car.
For the love of god stop implying that 'non-oem' parts are inferior. There is no such thing as an oem part, they just rebox someone elses.

as long as you get a application specific o2 sensor and not a universal one you're not likely to have any problems

as to the OP, what was the initial code? Alot of times you can get a bad o2 code when its not the o2 sensor that was causing the problem, something further up the line could have been causing the o2 sensor to be wack.
