It's pretty simple actually.
The baby is inside a large pitcher of water. If you look at the top you can see the baby's head out of the water and it is merely the reflection of the mouth through the water that makes it look submerged.
so the baby is actually in the water?
i was under the impression that someone said it was outside like the description of jurrassic park
