right ... like i said ... leave it up to the states. its the states duty to maintain the safety of their roads. cities handle city roads, county handle county roads and so forth.
so why should i start paying more federal taxes to fix a bridge in utah? if a state decides they dont have enough road funds to fix their bridges then fine put it up to a vote in that state ballot to increase the tax. dont make people in Maine pay for bridges in Texas. its silly
