let me elaborate.

the only cheap macbooks are way too small for the eyes. to me 13" is for those people who are litterally using their laptops specifically in the field. looking past this they are horendously overpriced.... pricing out an exact dell copy as we speak.

an exact comparison for a macbook pro to a dell 1520 is $1999 to $1234. The dell is actually better equipped, as far as service goes, complete service on the dell will be an extra $250 3 years full coverage, something like 350 for the mac.

now these arent "comparable systems" they are litterally the same specs in every case of the word. factor in that dell will refund you $100 just for saying "I don't like Vista" and you're on your way to getting nearly two computers for the price of one mac.
