Had the same thing happen in St. Paul last spring. Fuckers tried to pry the metal trim between the front and rear drivers side doors. Metal gave way so they just smashed my driver window instead. Didn't take $1700 of audio stuff, not even a CD. $55 for a window, DIY install.
