I'm gonna go take a look at that area of my car to see if I can give a better description, lemme find the flashlight...
:hsugh:
OK, I took a look out there and realized I needed to take another look at my manual and I found a more detailed description of the "
Test
tachometer
service
connector" location whereas before all I'd seen was a big arrow pointing in that general area.
What I believe to be the TTSC is a two terminal connector with a black rubber cover or shroud, it's taped onto the other wires right beside the brake/clutch fluid reservoirs, the far left(driver's side) of engine compartment, right in front of the window cowl - it's next to 3 (at least on my car) gray connectors mounted on a small bracket.
It says in my manual that it has two terminals and the plastic piece appears to be designed for two, but mine only has one and there doesn't appear to be a stray wire anywhere.
I don't know if the "missing" terminal was just ground (which you wouldn't really need) or something else - shows how much I know about wiring up a tach

h: - maybe it has to do with mine coming with a tach :hsdunno:
My manual appears to be somewhat lacking in that it diagrams 3 connectors in that area, including the TTSC while mine has 3
plus the TTSC so maybe it's my manual, I dunno.
I have a '92 and the manual is a first edition printed in '91 meant for all 5th gens from '92-'95 and so if it can vary slightly with my car, it certainly could for yours since different year, just something to keep in mind.
Anyway, good luck, hope you get it figured out
