I understand what you're saying about all the other shit going on in many African countries. I watch the news. So I'm not discrediting that part of your argument.
Then instead of banning it why don’t they educate the people on how to make it safer? On how to practice it the right way?? But no way would that be accepted in the international community.
Look if 97% of the female population is doing it, before the ban, after the ban there will still be 97% of the population doing it. If 5% of the population was able to pay 9$ for the for the “correct” procedure then don’t ban it cause then no one will be able to get it don the “right way”.
