To be honest, I saw the cliques in the dept. and didn't want to be a part of all that. Plus, I saw that cops only really hung out with other cops, and egos were pretty big. When I inquired about going to the FBI, I found that a degree in law got you up the ladder faster, and I knew I wasn't going to law school.
