you wont be able to do valve work yourself. if you have the right connections, you can remove springs and such, but your gonna have to pull the head off to perform a valve job. they have to be ground a lapped at precice angles...so what i would do, is adjust the valves according to procedure. (you can go a little tight on the adj if you want, dont go too tight). if that doesnt cure it then rip off the head to take it to a machine shop
