Hey guys i have a Sony Head unit that puts out about 52 watts a channel a Kicker AMP KICKER KX200.4
RMS Power Output: 35W x 4 @ 4 Ohms
Peak Power Output: 70W x 4 @ 4 Ohms
Birdged Output: 100W x 2 @ 4 Ohms
Signal To Noise Ratio: 95dB
Frequency Response: 20-20,000Hz
Bass Boost: 0 -12dB
Built-In Crossovers: High and Low
THD @ 4 Ohm RMS Power: <1%
Low Level Input: Yes
Built in Cooling Fan: Yes
Bass Control Knob: No
And 2 Sets of Kicker Componet Speakers don't know model number i think they can go up to 125-150 Watts..
I was wondering i want my system to go a Tad bit louder (When on Freway) and when i go past 20-22 Vol out of 38-40 It distorts like CRAZY Can't understand song anymore..
My question is this a AMP issue (Not putting out enough power) Or Speaker issues.
I am thinking AMP, but if it is, if i also want to get a little 10" Powered Sub 200 Watts then what amount of wattage should my new AMP be?
O wait does Buit on AMP mean i don't need a extra 200 watt for a amp or no?
