true...and that is part of the argument that anti-global warming people use. However, the weather models that we are using now have been shown to be very accurate at predicting weather changes and explaing past weather changes. These models show that the amount of green house gasses being pumped into the atmosphere by humans is enough to cause changes that would have otherwise not occured (or not occured as quickly if you think the earth was changing anyway).
regaurdless I think the burden of proof relies on the scientist to prove that humans are not causing change (not the other way around). It would be unethical to continue polluting until we know for sure. By then it could be too late. Plus there is no harm in learning to be more environmentally friendly.
