Default FINALLY my transmission is working 110%

I can say this has been the longest issue i've had with my car

I was developing shifting problems from 1st -2nd, and when slowing down it would down shift hard.
I think this started around 70k miles,
I took it to honda 4 times and they told me each time there is no problem. I was fighting back and forth and eventually gave up. ( i knew it wasnt mechanical because it would of broken down by now )

So I did a bit of research on the linear solenoid. I believe the 97 series accords had that problem on the 6th gen the fix is to change tranny's.

My friend has an 01 v6 sedan which had tranny issues and needed replacement. His issue and mine were totally different so I knew this solenoid was the issue.

I swapped the part ( if you do change this part make sure you buy that silicone gasket thing ( i think honda sells it for 18 bucks, its called honda bond ....)
upon putting the solenoid back on I developed a tranny oil leak because it wasnt sealed properly, its a bitch to get that part snugged in there.

Now after 6 hours, 5 bags of kitty litter and a stained up the ass driveway with tranny fluid It seems that fixed my problem. Shifting is so much smoother and it catches gear just like when i drove the car out of the dealer ship on mar 2002.
Now im not sure if this will be the fix for all models but, if you develope a problem in your 4cyl 6thgen accord with shifting issues try changing that solenoid out. Its only 180 bucks vs 2g's + replacing a needless transmission

this is the part in question. If you look at the lower left of the circled image there is a bracket thats extending downward from the bolt. I think that bracket wasnt seated properly when I placed the new one on because thats where the leak was coming from.
