New tranny fluid will most likely not solve the problem. If it is a slow leak like you describe, I wouldn't worry about it. Like I said before, the amount of labor to replace that seal is incredible. It is easier to just top off the transmission every month or so to keep the fluid level up.

Where in Italy? It is so beautiful there minus the trash everywhere in the major cities.
