My neighbor is moving away to China and we've been friends for a lonng time. Luckily for me, he'll sell me his 2000 Accord (V6) for $3500.. not bad for a car that hasn't been in any accident - he has taken really good care of it..

Puahah this will be my first car (i'm 17) so i'll need some help from you guys :P

1. the stock transmission is junk from what i feel when he gives me a ride anywhere.. so i was wondering, does the transmission come as a part of an engine package? or do you buy transmissions seperately..

2. i'd like to get 300-400hp out of that car (is it feasible? ) would you recommend a full turbo kit? or start off with an engine swap? from what i've read, the most likely candidate is a h22 from a prelude?

3. does anyone know a good site or book i can learn about modifying cars?
