ok so its that time of the year where i overhaul my car and fix verything i broke over the winter

i have 2 main questions


how hard is it to replace valve stem seals? will this require pulling the motor out? im used to v8's and doing anything on them in the car is a no no...
ive been eating/burning oil for a while now and i need to fix it..everyone says its normal but its reallty pretty bad..like atleast 2-3 quarts between changes,...sometimes my oil light comes on 1500 miles after change and its almost empty....its not leaking i leave it parked and its always dry under it hours later... its def either leaking down through the cyl or out through the valve seals.

secondly and not as important... i need the exhaust bolts that go directly into what i believe to be the tranny or oil pan..its obviously been a while since i been down there.....its on the back side of the cat... i dont know the thread of these bolts and apparently neither did whoever owned this car before me cause they arent there. performance wise it doesnt matter at all BUT I HATE THE RATTLING OF METAL ON METAL
