One more thing I want to add...

To do a good burnout pull the parking brake up and put the car into second gear. Rev the motor up a ways then dump out the clutch and give it a good burn.

Do not hold the car back by pushing against it. Seriously man last thing any of us wants to hear is that some kid got hit while holding his buddies car back during a burnout and the thing slipped and launched into him.
