Thats a pretty good deal. How difficult is it to swap this engine over into a 91 LS? Would anything needed to be modified?
There is a fair bit of wiring involved with a B18C swap, but nothing too horrid.
Just out of curiosity... is smog legality an issue? Are you in CA?

To be honest, if all you really need to do is get the car moving again, you could save plenty by just chucking another B18A1 under the hood.

That way, all you would need is a longblock. It would just be a matter of dropping the entire drivetrain, pulling the dying motor and bolting in the new(er) one.

Call me a pessimist, but I tend to think about all of the other things that will wear out on a 16-year old chassis, particularly one that's driven hard. :hsughr:
