I drove about an hour and back to a NAPA that had the 'OEM' part in stock (rather than waiting a week to have it delivered to my local NAPA).

I got there expecting a DENSO O2 sensor, but instead the guy hands me a BOSCH box.

Id read here or elsewhere that the BOSCH ones are known to return codes... otherwise Id have gotten the BOSCH one from the autozone a mile from my house.

Anyways, I open the BOSCH box, and see the sensor itself has a DENSO stamp on it, and the same part number as the OEM one I'd pulled.

plugged it in, and it works like a charm...

anyways, my point is, the BOSCH 'OEM' O2 sensor IS the OEM 02 sensor...

had I known that earlier, Id have saved $5 on the part, and 2 hours of my life, and half a tank of gas in my Wrangler... oh well, live and learn...
