No, I've had the paperwork in my desk for a couple months now. The problem is finding legitimate character references. You need 5 people that can attest to your moral character AND they need to live in your area AND they can't be related to you. Everyone I know that's not related to me lives outside of my county. I don't really want to go knock on my neighbor's door that I don't know very well and be like "Hey, want to sign my pistol permit application?"

What also sucks is that you have to fill out the entire application 3 times. They don't let you just make one and then make 2 copies, all 3 copies have to be original, which means getting everyone to fill out their info 3 times, having your character references fill it out 3 times, ect. It's annoying.
