It's my first time out and it cost me about $120. But I had to buy a lot of stuff that is reusable...like a very large pot, a fermenting bucket, and a lot of little stuff. From here on out it should cost $30 - $35 for for 5 gallons. At least that's for the Irish Stout....the price for others might very. I am still very new to this.

And as far as time it only takes an hour or two the first day and then maybe 30 minutes to an hour to bottle it a few weeks later.
