And to make this post worth while, OP - please do not use an Apexi AFC on that engine. It's not capable of properly tunning fuel, or ignition tables. It just "tricks" the ECU into thinking conditions are different.

Crome is a great, lower cost tunning solution. Depending on the model year of your car, you will need an OBD2-OBD1 jumper harness and a Chipped OBD1 ecu. Then let a shop tune the car for you on the dyno.
correct me if im wrong but i thought chrome itself was actually free...all that you need to purchase is the chipped ecu and if you want pay someone to tune for you
