A lighter flywheel barely makes the car any more difficult to drive. You won't even notice it is there after 5 minutes of driving. You will see better throttle response and it will be a lot easier to rev match to downshift. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.
A lightweight flywheel is beneficial on all setups, IMO. I am running the 8.8lb Prolite on my setup and I am glad I didn't go any heavier.
