ok so i got into it and checked it out... its the svc that runs like everything apperently... it has about 25-30 services it manages.

if i suspend the whole svchost i lose alot of windows function

i got in and looked at the threads it was controlling, and it had one thread that was stealing about 90% of my cpu power...i suspended that thread and i have no issues, i tried to get the name of the thread to post but it dissapeared once i suspended it....any idea why that one thread would want to reserve 90%+ of my resources?
