Yeah......you don't want to get rid of those processes. They're pretty vital. If your CPU is being worked more than usualy (90% shouldn't be constant) then you likely have a problem.

I had the same situation and then I cleaned out the registry with ccleaner. My computer ran as if it was new afterwards. It's a free program...
