3) All citizens must study the political messages of all available candidates other then the incumbents so that they can make an informed decision on election day. We must use the vast array of information available to us to understand what those running for office really stand for. We must engage in meaningful political conversations to understand issues rather then supporting incumbent ideology through labeling and name calling. Our incumbents are dependent upon uninformed voters and low voter turn out, they are reelected because voter turn-out rarely exceeds 40-45%.
