Anyway, I agree. This car is not impressive. Shameless ripoff of the Z4 and TT. The Solstice makes this car a failure.
Drive the Solstice first.
In addition to being overweight... it has a couple of absolutely moronic ergonomic gaffs.
The window switch fiasco and the near-complete lack of a trunk are enough to knock it out of contention as a sole-car daily driver.
If DCX gets real about the engine options, keeps the weight down and puts in a halfway decent trunk, IMO it is worth trying to compete with the MX-5.
PS: The comment about hp is really meaningless in the end.
It's all about power-to-weight in this class of cars.
176 hp in a 2400 lb car will do fine.
260 hp in a 2900 lb car is IMO the product of sloppy engineering.
