Double the wattage doesn't mean double the lighting.

Also, those claims by PIAA and other blue bulb companies about how their 60/55w bulb is equal to the output of a 120/100w bulb is bogus...

One factor is that with such a thick tint, the company needs a high wattage bulb to have even some kind of useable light. Basically, stay away from high wattage bulbs.
