the outer end of my left steering rack boot is torn, and the joint underneath still has grease and looks like it is in good condition, but i'd like to replace the boot. the helms manual doesn't have a procedure for just replacing the boot without pulling the entire rack, and i am wondering if anyone has ideas on the easiest way to get the job done.
