Knocking under the hood..

My engine tends to knock when i accelerate, it tends to gets worse as I increase my speed and sometimes my steering wheel turns to the right really fast and locks. The knocking doesnt happend when im in nuetral. If you could please help me out and tell me what this is i would really appreciate it,,thanks
