Yup, exactly. Pinstripe is usually applied by the dealer, not at the factory. 99% of the time, it's applied in pre-manufactured stick-on plastic strips, NOT painted by hand. I'd be really suprised if your pinstripe was painted on - that's old school technique and not very common. Are you sure it's painted on? Depending on how long it's been on, it can seem like paint - it gets very hard. Some pinstriping material is also thinner than others depending on the grade. Oh, and fading is common on plastic pinstriping, again depending on grade.

if it's so, how can i removed it since ONE SIDE OF MINE is gone and the other side is not, and it's FACTORY PAINTED over, and some is fading off.

uh, to make that clear, the strip on my EX is not the strips glued over, it's actually Factory painted or whatever and it's fading off a lil bit
