YEPP. Do your basic stuff.

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, change the oil. Make sure it is completely up to snuff before you even touch the car. You will thank yourself later.

I am always a fan of completly cleaning the sh*t outa the car, that makes it look about 1000 times nicer. Really detail the inside.
