I bought actual vinyl from Joann's fabrics and used it for the interior of my del sol. It came out great. Everyone thinks it was professionally done until they ask how much it costs and I tell them about 40 bucks. Even my dad was impressed when he stopped by after paying 1600 for a complete reinterior of his corvette. I might even revinyl one of his friend's corvette door panels.

I use 3m vinyl adhesive. It works great and not a bit has come up in cold or hot weather. I would only use the hot glue gun for the tucked edges, otherwise it might leave a bumpy/unsmooth surface.

I'll try to take a pic soon so you can tell me what you think. If you like it, I can explain how I did it.
