Hey bud sorry to say but your not going to get 2000watts true rms of the honda stock charging system. Its just not going to work in stock form. The most you can really get away with is about 1200 to 1400. And 1400 is really pushing it. A lower watts rms system planned out will bump harder then your set up. And with that amp playing there is no way your stock charging system can stay at 13-14 volts were that amps needs to be to make power. You risk motor boating that amp and in turn it will clip and send dc current to your speakers. And speakers hate dc current. But why would you use that amp on that sub? All you need is 500-600 watt rms amp to run that sub. Run that sub at peak all day long and you can call it toast soon. Find your self a mono amp to power it. Run some good quality 4 ga wire. Not that cheap stuff that really 8ga with a thick coating. I can't tell you how many times I see amps fail because of this. Or over heat. Because the noob thought he was really using 4 ga wire. Also upgrade to the big three or four. A cap could help but is not allway necessary. Most people use them for a band-aid to a problem. Before you do anything please make sure your charging system is up to par first before adding anything.
