I'm running Bridgestone RE730's 215/40/17. VERY good treadware rating for the level of dry grip they offer. I can definitely see why the h-t crowd went nuts over them when they first came out.

Falken Azenis are a cheap performance tire, but they have a much shorter tread life compared to the other tires listed. If you have money mount Azenis on some cheap lightweight 15"s as your competition wheel/tire, and get something with a higher tread-rating for use on the street. I cannot possibly imagine using Azenis in the rain (snow? ) but then again I don't know of anyone who runs them year-long in regions with inclimate weather.

Btw, did you see the results for STS at Nationals? Azenis own that class...
