That is good news! Those darn leaks can cause problems.

As you say, setting the idle screw can make quite a difference.

Remember to re-set your computer afterwards by unplugging the brown 7.5 amp fuse in the inside corner (the one closest to the driver) of the underhood fuse box (passenger side) and replugging it after one minute. You need to reset the car computer every time you change the idle speed.

Give you computer a few days to get used to the new situation (no joke!) and the engine may run even better.
