The 302 and 327 are two of the hottest motors if you want high rpm and good hp numbers. One reason why I never will consider the 350 or the 351 unless I am looking for bottom end numbers and more raw hp.
only experience I have with the 351 is a blown/nitrous drag car built by my ex-gf father who builds race cars. He put it into the 7s so I figured it was the bees knees. I wont pretend to know what motors are good domestically. It's actually a problem for me at school because most of my instructors/classmates are all huge domestic muscle guys, and here I am subaru/honda/nissan import guy. I have learned alot about them by force, but I still dont exactly know which motors are what when it comes to the best choice for performance.
