I believe it's BS on your part. :bs: I've driven stick-shift automobiles for the large part of my life and I know that manual-transmission cars have a hard time, barely even with identical cars, of catching up with automatic ones. You'd have to rev up a manual and shift gears rapidly in order to catch up or pass an automatic.
