could be a number of things. A bad FTP (fuel tank pressue sensor), could be the canister itself. Its really dificult to say without being able to test the system with the proper tools
ya thats why I took it in in the first place to be told the purge valve was bad..
maybe $1000 from now it will be fixed at the rate things are going...
