Default repair shop can't figure this one out, HELP!!

I own a 1990 Accord EX, and it has recently started to make this godawful sound. It almost sounds and feels like there's a knot in my tire. I purchased four new tires, alignment, put on new tie-rod ends, and changed my stabilizer arm bushings (one of those was missing), and the sound (and extreme vibration) is still there. It only happens when I'm accelerating. When I push on the clutch to change gears, or when I take my foot off of the gas, or when I put the car in neutral, the sound and accompanying vibration disappears. And though the vibration is moderate to severe, my steering wheel doesn't shake. I understand that CV joints will click or knock when turning, but that isn't one of the symptoms. I have to drive it for about 15 minutes before it starts acting up. Wheel bearings? I have no clue. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
